Ok, so Saturday I went to Babies R Us. mainly, so I could see in person the Windsor line from Graco. and it is every bit as gorgeous as it looks online. but I still am all quandaried.
ok, so. I really like the green toile stuff. I want the green toile bedding from target. then I worry if its too girly. the bedroom is already yellow, with a hunter green carpet, so I think sage stuff will be best. and oh, coincidence, happens to be the color of choice for gender neutral! enter toile. katie LOVES toile. I would rather blue toile, but recall the green carpet? even though i won't have green carpet forever, but still. i have it now, and that is important. is it ok to put a boy in sage toile and gingham? no ruffles. just simple toile and gingham. can I do the windsor pattern? or ought I settle for the blue/yellow plaid, which is also up my alley?

My poor husband got to witness his first pap smear, breast exam, and even a rectal. which was just ew! I also got poked with a TB test. peed in a cup. and had 20 vials of blood drawn. We also were sent back down for an ultrasound. Baby has little wiggly arms and legs! and a wee brain! and Andy swears he saw a giant penis. I saw it too, but we know that isn't it. everything looked good, and I was measuring right on target. the dr. thought I felt smaller than I should at 9 weeks, and with the bleeding the week before, he wanted to make sure. turns out, I am just not your ideal perfect shaped uterus owner! then we got a folder full of pamphlets, a book, and a little package from target. oh, and gave my medical history, but not andy's which seems weird. especially since, yes, he does have relatives with heart disorders and genetic disorders. ok, his sisters twins, but still, significant, yes? oh well. next time, we will mention it. next time is June 27, with Dr. Saycheck. who hopefully doesn't remember the time that my mother, andy and I were all misbehaving during Christmas Eve service, and she and her family were sitting right behind us :)
So far, no weight gain. I started the Stuart DuetDHA Rx pills last Wednesday, and they made me feel gross, so I switched to taking them at night, before bed. I am not sick at all from them anymore. SO other than those two times, and from the pills, no sickness. no boobies hurting, no cramping.
I got a giant box of maternity clothes from my SIL. they look so big. but I tried the shorts on, and there really isn't that much room to grow! eep!
